This week, an Odd Lots podcast on Apple’s need to pivot ideally complemented their third quarter earnings call. In the podcast, the Apple “pivot” related to again making new products “sexy” and their new leader’s credentials. Meanwhile, although the call trumpeted their record revenue, its guidance was not as rosy. Investors were concerned with Tim Cook’s departure, supply constraints, and slower growth. As a result, today, the share price slid 7.35% to $308.91.
